EMDR

EMDR Therapy – Processing Trauma and Distress

EMDR is used primarily for trauma and distressing experiences. It works by helping the brain reprocess memories that seem "stuck" and continue to trigger strong reactions, making EMDR therapy effective for trauma and PTSD.

Therapy allows these memories to be integrated in a way that reduces their emotional intensity. Through EMDR therapy, the experience remains, but it no longer carries the same level of distress or impact on your present life.
